Welcome to Jezreel, the land where memory melds with reality, coming together into world that both augments the player creativeness while maintaining powerful storytelling. In Jezreel, the player is thrown into a whirlwind of roles, at once a neophyte to adventuring and commander of his own army, fashioned down to the last detail by the player. In addition, the players also build the kingdom of Jezreel, both with their direct decisions and by the unexpected consequences of their actions.
The plot is built around the concept that each player’s character is expressed thrice: initially, the character mere beginner in the realm of adventuring, only just beginning a dangerous career to wealth and fame; in the second stage, the character has aged, more mature now and battling unrest and upheaval as Jezreel transforms from what it was to what it will become; in the final scene, the character has achieved great success and fame, and now sits as duke/duchess of a province of Jezreel, much reformed and much redeemed. It is in this time that true opportunity for creativity is born; as each character has been leader of his dukedom for several years, he has had the opportunity to fashion his province to suit his manner, creating whatever social, political, and religious states he deems prudent. Additionally, the character also personally commands an army he has trained from the ground up, which will also conform to the manner of the creator.
In short, Jezreel is a combination of redemptive plot and player creativity, synthesizing into a land where the story moves you because you are the object of the plot, the protagonist, the landscape, the history, the secondary characters, the vivacity that turns the world itself.
